appearance: Roy Mustang is a handsome young man with a slight baby face. His skin is fair, while his hair is neatly cut with his bangs hanging in his face. He has slightly angled eyes that hold a little bit of a feral look to them. His muscles are well sculpted and flashy, though he rarely shows them to any one. He is tall with thick, square shoulders and a strudy build and stance.
Clothing wise, Roy is typically in his Military uniform. He enjoys the classy feel of nice or ranking clothing. He will occasionally wear a nice shirt and pants, though. When at a formal even, he slicks his hair back so that no hair, not even his bangs, hang into his face.[/ul][/size][/blockquote]

personality: Roy Mustang is a pretty simple person. He is ambitious, bold, flirty, stubborn and most of all, proud. Roy sees himself as one of the best out there, and makes sure to let others seem him in that way also. With this pride, comes the big ambitions. He has big dreams of becoming the headmaster of SOHT, though he is on his way seeing as he is the only general of the SOHT area. He also has ambitions of being rich, and marrying a woman that is not only good on the eyes, but good on the pocket and body.
Speaking of women! Roy Mustang didn't get his nickname "stud" for no reason. Roy loves the women, though he always does his best to treat them like royalty. It is hard for the General to stay with one woman for a long period of time, for, as much as he denies it, he is terribly afraid of commitment and afraid that the woman will cheat on him while he is doing his military tasks.
Roy is one of the most bold, yet stubborn people in the military. He does not like doing things unless it is on his own terms, which often results in him doing paperwork and various other tasks last minute. Yet, if it is his idea, he will go at it with full force. There is no holding back his tongue, unless its to superiors, or his actions. If he needs to go tackle a wanted criminal, he would charge at them without hesitation. Hit on a woman? No need to ask him twice. Fill out a document due at the end of the week by five? Naps until four on friday afternoon. [/ul][/size][/blockquote]

history: Roy was born to a fairly average family. Well, average besides the fact that his grandfather was the founder of SOHT. His mother was Ignis Equum's daughter, though the family really didn't care for the fame that came with the Equum name, so Roy's mother abandoned that name with her marriage. Roy didn't even know about his grandfather for the longest time. He just went to the elementry school in the town, had a few friends, and spent his days being a normal child. Then, when he was five years old, his parents got into a horrible car accident after sliding on ice during a bad winter. Both of his parents were killed. Orphaned, Roy was taken in by his aunt, Chris. She had no children of her own, and loved Roy like a son, and continued to raise him. She also informed the young Roy about his mother's father, or his grandfather. He was amazed by what he heard, and when he was in middle school, started to do research on the school. He wanted to go to the school himself. Yet, he found out that his grandfather had died not long before his birth, which took away his option of contacting his grandfather for admission. But, that didn't stop him. He took interest in the Alchemy, and soon found a trainer for the subject. His foster mother approved of his goal, and did her own part at trying to get him admitted to the school.
After much work, Roy was finally accepted to SOHT, and spent his next six years double majoring in both Alchemy and Military. He specifically majored in Flame alchemy, which he was able to learn in secret from his trainer back in his home town.
In just three years, Roy was able to push his way through the SOHT area ranks and became the youngest General in the history of the school. He takes much pride in this, and is determined to keep his position until he is able to take the Headmaster place in the school. He sees this postion as rightfully his since his grandfather was the founder.
Within the last year, the Military Alchemists started to try to create the perfect canine partner. Roy was one of the ones to help with this project, thus, getting two of the first WarHounds. He takes the canines almost everywhere with him, earning lots of attention along the way.
