A stern look is typically on his face, and his eyes are usually narrow and focused. His hair is a bit on the longer side for professional people, but with most of it gelled back, and just a few strands of his bangs hanging in his face, he still grasps his professional vibe. He has a very narrow, almost pointed nose, with angled features. His body structure is square and well built.

personality: Rufus is quite the leader. He has this natural obession with leading other people. He does not follow well, and will do almost anything to become the leader in any situation. When he cannot get out of a following position, be tends to become nervous, snappy, and more strict than normal.

With his leadership side, comes his strictness. Rufus wants things done right, his way, on time, all the time. If things are not done in this way, his anger can seep through, or even worse, his disappointment. The only thing worse than his anger, which is typically mild, is his disappointment. When he becomes disappointed in someone, he seems to tell them less, give them less important jobs, or even seems to abandon them.

Though Shinra is strict and likes his order, he does have a friendly and social side, though its a small and rare side to see. When this aspect shows though, it is typically only to a few people, whom tend to be his closest and most favorite. He will be kind to those who he likes, and maybe even spoil them slightly. When it comes to having a good time, he much rather stay in or at someones house with that small group of favorite people and have a few drinks.[/ul][/size][/blockquote]

history: Rufus was born into a family of buisness owners. His father was the owner of a large electric company, while his mother worked for the School's recruting. He lived a fairly normal, though pampered, life in his young years. He was home schooled, and spent much of his time studying so that he could someday be the owner of his fathers buisness. Then, when he was about nine, his father sold the family business and they moved to Ignis Town where his father took the job as the school's Dean. Rufus continued to be home schooled, until he turned fifteen, then he was accepted into SOHT. He immediatly majored in History and Government. When he was in his third year of schooling, Mr. Ignis Equum died, leaving Rufus' father to take over the school. Not that it made any difference to him, not even the fact that his mother died within the same time frame from a heart attack. He just continued his schooling until he finished six years of classes. He taught history. When he was promoted by his father to the Dean position. He happily stayed in the Dean position for nine years. Then in the winter of 2011, his father died in a hunting accident, leaving Rufus as the Headmaster of SOHT. With the year of 2012 being his first year as Headmaster, Rufus is already happy and proud to be in the Head Chair of the school. [/ul][/size][/blockquote]
