personality: Hige is typically a laid back individual, preferring to just hang around and visit than rush around. He has a soft heart and will help with just about anything, though this sometimes leaves him open to being used and manipulated. He has yet to see the dark side of the world, and is naïve, though innocent and carefree. He is quite empathic, and can be a great shoulder to cry on, or just a good listener.

Anytime someone he knows is feeling down, and even to some people he doesn’t know, he will take it upon himself to help, even if its just listening to someone complain about life. Hige has a great sense of humor, and an even greater talent, he knows when to use it. It cheers people up, calms people down, and makes people laugh so hard they cry. history:Hige has a very strange and unique history. The earliest thing he can remember is the forest, hiding, eating, trying to stay warm. Before that all he has are vague emotions, love, warmth, and such. He was found in the Green Mountain National Forest by Andris, half alive. But when he was found, Andris didn’t know anything about him, other than that there was a Mexican wolf pup some how far away from home. Andris, looking at the small orange bundle, decided to take the wolf pup home to his home.

He raised Hige as if he was an abandoned wolf pup, feeding and caring for him. Eventually, he was nursed back to health. Andris had grown so attached, that he couldn’t bring himself to release Hige, so he kept him. What happened the night after taking Hige into the forest again astounded him. The pup, now a few years old, was sleeping on his bed when Andris went to bed. When Andris woke up the next morning, he found a young boy sleeping on the bed in place of the wolf pup he had named Vilks, though the boy still wore the black collar he had bought for the pup.

After a lengthy talk, during which Andris learned that Vilks, or Hige, had actually no idea what he was, wolf pup or young boy, but he hadn’t been able to shift, because of his injuries and exhaustion. Ever since then, Andris has been like a father to Hige, teaching him and educating him. Eventually though, they both knew that Hige would have to go out and experience the world at large. The easiest way to introduce this unusual boy to the bigger world would be through this place called SOHT. And so away Hige went, still keeping wearing the collar, more as a memory of his past than a sign of ownership though.
